To begin this project, I had to create my typeface. I wanted it to be a fun, bubbly display type. To do this, I hand-illustrated each type, both regular and bold, before bringing them into a software to vectorize them.
The next step was to create the concept for my ice cream shop. Since I wanted it to be unique and memorable, I decided on something that has not been done before: boba in ice cream. With this idea I was able to start researching the branding of other boba and ice cream brands to help me create the brand guidelines for BubbleScoop.
For the menu design, I wanted something simple and easy to understand but also eye-catching.
I wanted to bring both the packaging designs and ice cream truck to life by creating 3D renders. For the ice cream pints and cups specifically, I created 3D models myself.
